Join Dorset artist, Shaun Forward, on his popular Urban Sketching Workshop.
Limited to 5 places, this Urban Sketching Workshop will take place on Tuesday 24th February 2026 between 10:00am – 4:00pm.
Starting off at the Botanist’s rooftop café in Bobbys, Bournemouth Square – we will explore different sketching techniques and produce some swift observational sketches from life, whist enjoying coffee and the rooftop views of the town centre. Following this we will move out into the town to sketch buildings and architecture details, with continual coaching from myself. Bring a packed lunch to enjoy in the lower gardens whilst we appreciate each other’s sketches and learn from appraisals. The afternoon session will continue with us putting our improved skills into practice in other locations around the town centre.
Fee: £75pp includes basic materials, my workshop companion booklet and continual coaching.
