Join Shaun Forward’s Beginners Urban Sketching Workshop in Westbourne. Get the ‘sketchbooking habit’ and start to learn an affordable & easily portable hobby which you can enjoy for a lifetime!
Limited to 8 places, this short group starter workshop will take place on Tuesday 21st October 2025 between 10:00am – 1:00pm. We will cover an introduction to a range of popular sketching materials and techniques and get started on producing our own sketches of the surrounding buildings and artefacts. I’ll demonstrate how I go about urban sketching and encourage everyone to learn to ‘see’ the important details to record which speeds up the process. We’ll all go home with a range of sketches and a buzzing desire to do more! All abilities welcome and I will coach each at your own level. All in a relaxed and encouraging vibe.
Fee: £35pp includes constant coaching. Option to extend by an hour or two, at £5/hr on the day. Plus, participants will receive a discount code for a future full-day workshop.
