This is an unexpected opportunity for those who work during the week to be able to get onto one of my popular Urban Sketching Workshops. Early booking is advised as there is a long list of interested sketchers who have been waiting for a weekend workshop - and it's only a week or so away!
|
|
Limited to 8 places, this group workshop will take place on Saturday 11th October 2025 between 10am – 4pm. We will use the 'Craft Room' as our base and for introductions, overview of materials and techniques, before moving out into the Courtyard itself to practice our sketching skills. With the farmyard buildings and main house - as well as all manner of interesting rural paraphernalia - there's plenty of inspiration!

We will have my core workshop content to generally follow, but rest-assured, I will tutor and appraise everyone at their own levels throughout the day. Shaun :-)

The Cowshed café is immediately opposite our base workshop room and offers superb meals, snacks, cakes, hot & cold drinks - with both cosy indoor and spacious outside areas. I am also running my Urban Sketching Workshop at The Forge, at the Libertine, Westbourne, 1 mile west of Bournemouth. 10am - 4pm Tuesday 7th October.

Our base venue will be the historic Forge and it's courtyard. We will also have Westbourne's glorious architecture to venture in to & enjoy with our sketch pads.
